In 2001, Amy Price Sawyer joined the title company. Since 1994, North Delta Title has closed over 25,000 real estate transactions and is the largest title company in Northeast Louisiana. KIRBY O. PRICE was born June 18, 1949, in Olla, Louisiana, and he has resided in Monroe, Louisiana, for more than 40 years. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1971 and earned his MBA from ULM in 1972. He graduated in 1978 from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, earning a Juris Doctorate. He has practiced law in Monroe since 1978, focusing on business transactions and real estate law. Mr. Price’s practice includes representation of both buyers and sellers, as well as lenders and borrowers, in various secured and unsecured transactions, as well as contractual matters such as leases, condominiums, and the formation of legal entities. Mr. Price is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Fourth District Bar Association. He is a certified real estate instructor by the Louisiana Board of Realtors; member and past board member of the Lotus Club; member and past board member of Bayou DeSiard Country Club; past chairman of the Professional Division and Major Donor’s Division of the United Way of Northeast Louisiana; past president of the Ouachita Chapter of the LSU Alumni Association; past board member of the Louisiana Land Title Association; past member of the Bank Counsel Committee of the Louisiana Banker’s Association; St. Mathew’s Catholic Church parishioner; and Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity.
J. LAWRENCE MULLENS was born November 7, 1947, in Dallas, Texas and has resided in Monroe, Louisiana, since September 1948. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Northeast Louisiana University in 1970. He graduated from Louisiana State University Law School, with a Juris Doctorate in 1973. Mr. Mullens is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association Committee for Title Standards, the Louisiana State Bar Foundation Fellowship, the Fourth District Bar Association, the American Land Title Association, past President of Louisiana Land Title Association, United Way of Northeast Louisiana, past President and member of the Board Directors of the Ouachita Valley Boy Scouts of America, member and former President of Lotus Club; Board Attorney for Monroe-West Monroe Board of Realtors, past President for the Fourth Judicial Junior Bar Association, past President of Ouachita Parish Louisiana State University Alumni Association, past member of Louisiana State University Alumni Council, past member of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, past member of the Board of Directors of the Monroe Rotary Club, past member of Monroe Jaycees. past member Board of Directors of Bayou DeSiard Country Club, past President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, member of the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity, Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order (Social Fraternity), member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Who’s Who in South and Southwest (1975), Outstanding Young Man of America (1979), and the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.
AMY PRICE SAWYER was born in Monroe, Louisiana where she presently resides with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Claire and Will. She is a graduate of St. Frederick High School and received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University in 2001. She graduated cum laude from Southern University Law Center, with a Juris Doctorate in 2009. Mrs. Sawyer is a member of the American Bar Association; the Louisiana State Bar Association; the Fourth District Bar Association; Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity; the Northeast Louisiana Association of Realtors; the Louisiana Land Title Association, the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents, and the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Sawyer is a former President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Fourth Judicial District, and currently serves on the School Council at Jesus the Good Shepherd School as well as serving as the Community Impact Chair on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Northeast Louisiana. Mrs. Sawyer and her family are parishioners of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
JUDY LYTLE has over 40 years of experience in the field of real estate transactions. She has been with North Delta Title since its inception in 1994, and has been legal assistant to Kirby Price since 1982. Her areas of expertise include commercial transactions and land acquisitions. Her responsibilities include preparing curative documents required to clear title, preparing title commitments and insurance policies, preparing closing documents and the actual closing of residential and commercial properties. She is a specialist in closing SBA 504 loans and 1031 Exchange transactions. She has been a duly commissioned Louisiana Notary Public since 1986.
SAVANNAH JONES has been a part of our team since 2009. She began as a part-time employee helping with the management of our filing system and began working full-time in 2011. She has worn many hats since that time including file clerk, receptionist, and title commitment specialist, and now leads our commercial loan processing division. She handles many different transactions including commercial purchases, refinances, 1031 exchanges, lot purchases and construction loans.
SHAWN SKYLES has over 15 years of real estate transaction experience having worked in both the closing and foreclosure side of the transaction. She joined our team in 2012 in our Post Closing Funding Division and now works in our Residential Processing Division as a residential loan processor. Shawn handles all aspects of your closing before you attend the closing, including coordinating the bank, realtors, buyers and sellers.
CLAY RASCO has been with North Delta Title for over 18 years. He heads our courier division and insures that all recordings are made timely and correctly as well as updating title for any intervening encumbrances.
DONNA TAYLOR is a 40+ year veteran in the real estate and legal fields, and has been legal assistant to Larry Mullens for over 40 years. Among her many duties, she assists with legal research, curative work for real estate transactions, and commercial loan processor. She is a specialist in all areas of probate, tutorship, foreclosure, and formation of legal entities. She is a qualified Louisiana Notary Public for Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.
WENDY KUKAL is in-house Accountant for North Delta Title Company. She has worked in the field of Accounting for several years specializing in payroll, financial statement reporting, and all areas of monthly accounting.
KRISTY ASHLEY joined the North Delta Title Team in 2008 with several years of real estate experience. She is a residential loan processor where she assists individuals and realtors throughout the closing process. Her role is to ensure that all aspects of your transaction are handled prior to closing and that all parties are informed of the transaction. Kristy also holds a Notary Public license for the State of Louisiana.
SHANNON MAY joined North Delta Title in February of 2017 and manages the Post-Closing Funding Division of our office. Shannon’s responsibilities include the filing of all closing documents timely and correctly in the appropriate parishes an disbursing all funds according to the lender’s closing instructions. After your closing documents have been filed, Shannon prepares the appropriate title insurance policies and delivers the specified documents to the lender and/or borrower. Shannon is also responsible for the monthly title insurance remittance and yearly IRS 1099 reports.
VEDA DIAMOND joined the North Delta Title family in July of 2018 and comes to us with over 35 years experience in the field of real estate transactions and the legal issues that may arise during a transaction. In her legal career, she has been responsible for preparing curative documents to clear title, preparing title commitments and title insurance policies, but also has experience closing the transaction and assisting the parties with signing the closing documents. Veda currently works in the Post Closing Funding Division of our office, but in addition to her real estate experience, Veda also assists the attorneys with probate, tutorship and other legal work associated with different transactions. She has been a duly commissioned Louisiana Notary Public since 1983.
LINDSEY LYTLE joined North Delta Title in 2001 as a part-time employee in the Post Closing Funding Division, and her full-time employment began in 2006. Lindsey has worked in every department in our office, including processing, post-closing and curative. This experience gives Lindsey the unique knowledge to insure that all important information is gathered at the beginning of the transaction. She understands the information that is needed in order to process your transaction efficiently and correctly. Lindsey’s responsibilities include receipt new title requests, corresponding with abstractors to obtain title searches and running title. She also assists our processors with preparing title commitment and documents necessary for closing.

Our company facilitates every aspect of the transaction and works closely with the real estate professionals, the lender, buyer, and seller to ensure that every settlement runs smoothly, and is handled in an efficient and stress-free manner.
Once you have found your perfect home, our office will run full title searches of land records to ensure that no liens or encumbrances will affect your ownership of the property. We prepare all settlement documentation and conduct and/or coordinate final settlement at the closing. North Delta issues title commitments, title policies, and title endorsements through First American Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Guaranty, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title, and WFG National Title Insurance.
We are experts in 1031 tax-free exchanges and offer escrow services for deposits, documents, and posting-closing matters.
What You Should Bring To Closing
In order to close on your new home or a new loan, you will need to bring a current driver’s license and secondary form of identification containing your legal name. This can be an insurance card, credit card, or other forms of government issued identification.
As the buyer, you will also need to bring your down payment for the purchase in the form of certified funds. Either your lender or someone from our office will tell you the exact amount to bring to closing.
North Delta Title Company offers an extensive list of commercial services from lease negotiations and contracts, tax-free exchanges, SBA loans, Federal Land Bank Loans, to commercial construction projects. We are experienced in condominium formation; corporation, limited liability company, and limited partnership formation.
North Delta Title Company houses a fully staffed Relocation Department manned by Relocation Specialist, Kristy Ashley, and Post-closing Relocation Specialist, Christina Fussell.
Miscellaneous Real Estate and Legal Work
Our office provides many miscellaneous real estates services, such as donations, the release of liens, boundary agreements, partition deeds, grants of easement or servitude, obtaining no-work certificates, preparing building restrictions, lease agreements and lease purchase agreements.
We are also able to provide legal services including, but not limited to, successions, tutorship proceedings, and all administrative proceedings required for authority to sell, mortgage or subordinate.
